3rd In-Country Training Project: I am e-government complaint says Shittu

ABUJA (Communications’ Report)- The Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu (Barrister) has assured Nigerians that he is an “e-government compliant”. He made this known at the opening ceremony of the 3rd In-Country Training Project for capacity building of e-government in Nigeria held recently at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria.

Adebayo Shittu enjoined participants to avail themselves of the opportunity offered by the training which represents a new vista in the drive to evolve a workable synergy to institutionalize e-government for the socio-economic benefit of Nigeria.

The project which was organized by the Federal Ministry of Communications in partnership with Korea International Co-operation Agency (KOICA) to develop capacity building programme for e-government in Nigeria, was designed as 5 e-government courses to increase the knowledge, capacity and skill of various cadres of officers in the public sector.

The Minister further revealed that  over 250 officers were trained during the first and second phase of the In-Country Training Programme.
