The Senate at its plenary session today Wednesday September 21, 2022 screened and confirmed the appointment of Hon. Kayode Ariwoola as the Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Hon. kayode Ariwoola was appointed as acting Chief Justice of Nigeria following the voluntary retirement of Hon. Dr. Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad on June 27, 2022.
The new Chief Justice of Nigeria was born on August 22, 1954 and hails from Iseyin local government area of Oyo State, Nigeria.
