The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar has on behalf of the Nigerian Government expressed condolences and sympathy to the Russian Government over the attack on Moscow.
According to the Honourable Minister, “we convey our deepest condolences to the people and government of the Russian Federation on the attack carried out at the Crucial Concert Hall in Moscow that resulted in the death of innocent people and injuries to more than a hundred others”. Adding that, “the government of Nigeria commiserates with the victims of this tragic attack and prays for the repose of their souls” as well as “quick recovery of those injured”.
The Minister further expressed that “at this challenging time, we stand in brotherhood with His Excellency President Vladimir Putin and entire Russian Federation”.
