The Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Zaphaniah Jisalo has disclosed that the Ministry verified and certified 667 Zonal Intervention and Constituency (ZIP/CP) Projects across the country.
The Minister disclosed this yesterday in Abuja while addressing newsmen on the activities of the Ministry in the last nine months.
According to him, the Ministry has the constitutional mandate to verify, certify and recommend to Ministry of Finance for payment of all such projects emanating from the National Assembly for the wellbeing of the people.
He stated that the projects verified and certified by the Ministry in the last nine months includes boreholes, maternity and healthcare centres, schools, among others.
Jisalo explained that the essence is to realize the renewed hope agenda promised by President Bola Tinubu’s led administration to Nigerians.
The Minister, enjoined all citizens to support the present administration’s efforts towards repositioning the country for greatness.
