Rimi highlighted the theme of this year’s celebration, “Above and Beyond,” as a testament to the dedication and exceptional efforts of the Nigerian workforce. He noted that the theme underscores a commitment to excellence, encouraging employees to go the extra mile to meet and exceed customer expectations.

“Customer Service Week, celebrated globally from October 7th to 11th, is a time to honour and reward employees for their excellent services across various sectors,” said Amb. Rimi. “The dedication and services of our workforce are crucial to national development, and this is equally true for Nigeria.”

It motivates employees to continue striving for excellence and sets a standard for others to follow.”

The event also featured discussions on the significance of the celebration colour, navy blue, which symbolizes trust, dependability, confidence, power, and elegance. “Navy blue gives us a sense of security and calm, and it is associated with the navy and sailors of a nation,” Mrs Akajemeli added.
