Abuja, Nigeria – In alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Federal Government has officially announced the strategic merger of the Federal Ministry of Tourism with the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy. This combined entity, now titled the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, will be led by Honourable Minister Hannatu Musa Musawa, Esq.

This consolidation is expected to drive a holistic approach toward promoting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, diverse tourism landscape, and creative potential, as well as catalyzing economic growth across these key sectors. Under Honourable Minister Musawa’s stewardship, the new ministry is set to focus on harnessing the synergies between art, culture, tourism, and the creative economy, aiming to uplift communities, create sustainable jobs, and boost Nigeria’s standing on the global stage.

Honourable Minister Musawa, widely recognized for her commitment to cultural advancement, expressed her dedication to this new role, stating, “This merger allows us to maximize our resources and present a unified front to support Nigeria’s vibrant cultural and creative sectors. We are poised to implement policies and initiatives that will foster local talent, stimulate international partnerships, and position Nigeria as a top cultural and tourism destination.”
