FIC Report (Kano State) – The Kano State Police Command has taken a significant step towards enhancing traffic management and public safety by promoting 154 Traffic Wardens to various ranks. This development is part of the Inspector-General of Police’s efforts to boost traffic management and public safety.
According to SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, ANIPR, MNISMA, Police Public Relations Officer, For: Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, “the promotion ceremony was held at the Police Headquarters in Bompai, Kano, where Commissioner of Police Salman Dogo Garba decorated the promoted officers.” CP Garba congratulated the promoted officers and charged them to redouble their efforts in ensuring smooth traffic flow and maintaining law and order on Kano roads.
Commissioner of Police Salman Dogo Garba emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to serving the public. He urged the promoted officers to shun corrupt practices and prioritize road users’ safety and well-being. This promotion is a testament to the Command’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding hard work and dedication.
