President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed a Substantive Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement. He is Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, to lead the Affairs of the Bureau.
This was made known in a Statement released to the media by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy Mr. Bayo Onanuga on November, 14th 2024.
The President according to the Statement enjoins the newly appointed DG to discharge his duties with Dedication, Patriotism and Excellence.
In a message sent to the management of the Bureau, the out-going Acting Director General Barrister Olusegun Omotola appreciated Mr. President for the appointment of Dr. Adebowale Adedokun. He called on all management staff to work and support the new leadership to move the Bureau forward.
Barrister Olusegun Omotola, appreciated the President for the opportunity given to him to serve in the Acting Capacity and hoped to continue to serve the nation in any capacity.
Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, before his appointment was the Director, of Research, Training and Strategic Planning at the Bureau.
