Nasarawa State Government Reaffirm Commitment To Support Security And Farmers

FIC Report (Nasarawa State) – Nasarawa State Governor has reaffirm it’s comment to support security agencies with necessary equipment to enable them fight insecurity in the state as well supporting farmers with modern mechanize farming machine as part of efforts migrate from hoe and cutlass way of farming inline with the renewed hope agenda of Presidents Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration.

Governor Abdullahi Sule stated this at an event for the Distribution of assorted vehicles security agencies and government MDA,s to enhance their operations as well as distributed thirty Tractors, with two for each of the Local Government Areas across the thirteen local government areas of the State which was held at the government house lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital recently.

Governor Sule also distributed vehicles to federal and State Public office holders as well as Security Agencies to enhance their performance.

According to the Governor Abdullahi Sule, government has recently purchased and distributed twenty three tractors from Mahindra to enhance farming and ensure food sufficiency across the State, stressing that distribution of another sets of thirty tractors across the local government areas was aimed at bursting food sufficiency, economic prosperity of the state through agriculture.

The governor further noted that his administration had since engaged in farming rice in Jangwa, Awe local government area of the State to ensure food sufficiency inline with the renewed hope agenda of Presidents Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration.

In order to strengthen the capacity of public office holders and security Agencies for optimal performance, governor Sule also explained that, the distribution of the vehicles to some public servants and Security agencies in the State was in furtherance of his administrations repellent in ensuring effective service delivery.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, State Commissioner of Humanitarian Service and NGO’ s princess Magret Elayo appreciated the untiring efforts of governor Sule towards supporting ministries departments and agencies to discharge their assigned responsibilities in the State.

Climaxed of the event was the symbolic presentations of keys of the vehicles to the beneficiaries.
