FIC Report (Kano State) – The Kano State Ministry for Women, Children, and the Disabled, under the leadership of Hon. Commissioner Hajiya Aisha Lawan Saji Rano, has expressed its readiness to collaborate with Jam’iyyar Matan Arewa in advancing the welfare of women, children, and persons with disabilities in the state.
In a statement through the Director Public Enlightenment, Bintu Nuhu Yakasai, Commissioner Saji Rano highlighted the ministry’s commitment to improving the lives of these groups through strategic partnerships. She underscored the transformative power of collective action, urging stakeholders to remain focused and united in their mission to create a more equitable society.
She further assured that the administration of Governor Abbas is dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering women as part of its broader commitment to societal development. “By working together seamlessly and supporting one another, we can not only improve lives but also create a lasting legacy for future generations,” she said.
The chairperson of Jam’iyyar Matan Arewa, Kubura Dankani, reinforced the organization’s readiness to collaborate and pool resources to drive positive change. She emphasized the importance of collective action in achieving meaningful improvements in the lives of women and the larger community.
This partnership is expected to foster empowerment, enhance inclusion, and drive sustainable development in Kano State.
