A Tin Mining Processing Plant Inaugurated In Nasarawa State

    FIC Report (Nasarawa State) – Nasarawa state Governor, Engnr Abdullahi Sule has inaugurated a one hundred tones capacity tin mining processing plant in Wamba local government area, Nasarawa state.

    The inauguration of the Metrix yin mining processing plant take place at the mining site in Jida community, Wamba LGA, recently.

    Govérnor Abdullahi Sule in his Inaugural speech at the event, Charged MiningCompanies Operating in the State to ensure Safety, Welfare and Employ their host Communities for the overall growth and development of the State and Country as a whole.

    He said that the company has the capacity of producing one hundred and half tones of Tin Mining per day..

    Governor while Commending the federal Ministry of Solid minerals and steel development for their Commitment in ensuring the realization of the solid minerals investment in the state, also explained that the Tin Mining Processing Plant would not only contribute to the economic Prosperity of the State but the nation in general.

    Governor Sule while acknowledging the effort of the Tin Mining Processing Plant for chosen Nasarawa State for their Investment, however called on them to provide cooperate social responsibilities to the host Communities to have a sense of belonging.

    Minister of Solid Minerals and Steel Development Dr Dele Alake, who was represented by the Director General Mining Cadastral office, Engr Obadiah Ukom said the Ministry is passionate about all investors coming to invest in Country specially miners and charged them to ensure that they should mine and process where the mining is talking place.

    The representative of the Company, Engr Badru Abdul Rafiu appreciated the Nasarawa State government and the host Communities for their hospitality and cooperation throughout the exploration period calling on them to sustain the tempo.

    Speaking on behalf of the local government Chairmen in the state, the state ALGON Chairman Safiyanu Isa Andaha commended governor Abdullahi for his disposition in changing the narrative of solid minerals sub sector that made the State to answered its name as the home of Solid Minerals by definition.

    Climaxed of the event was the Inauguration of the one hundred and half tone per day Tin Mining processing plant by governor Abdullahi Sule in Company of representative of Minister of Solid Minerals and other top government officials.
