FIC Report (Niger State) – Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has inaugurated a power station under rural electrification project in Paiko.
The project was sponsored by the member representing Paikoro at the State House of Assembly, Umar Nasiru to connect Barikishi, Kopango, and Wambe communities in the Council area.
The farmer Governor applauded the effort of the lawmaker, adding that the project is a testament of effective and judicious use of public funds given to him.
He said the power station will no doubt boost rural electrification in the local government area.
The farmer Governor then enjoined the people of the benefiting communities to protect the power station against vandalisation.
