The Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, (NTAC) has opened a window of partnership with the Diplomatic Correspondents’ Association (DICAN) to promote the 4Ds foreign policy doctrine of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, which is anchored on Democracy, Developments, Demography and Diaspora.

Speaking with DICAN delegation, led by the Chairman, Mr. Idehai Frederick, who paid him a visit at the NTAC headquarters in Abuja, the Director General, Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, Rt. Hon.Yusuf Buba Yakub assured the team of the Corps’ readiness to work with the association for the overall good of the country.

Rt. Hon. Buba, said the Technical Aid Corps has the mandate to boost the nation’s image internationally through its export of technical expertise especially to 35 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries as well as training those who have risen to the position of cabinet Ministers in some of those countries, while impacting millions of lives.

He further affirmed that the Corps will carry the association along in its programmes as well as give it the needed support through mutual collaboration and understanding.

In his earlier remarks, Chairman, DICAN, Mr. Idehai Frederick said the Association paid the visit to seek areas of partnership and collaboration in order to explore ways to support NTAC’s programme in line with the 4Ds doctrine of the Federal Government.

He informed the DG of the strategic nature of the association to the stability, overall growth and development of the country.

The Chairman, DICAN said, Diplomatic Correspondents’ Association, DICAN, is a body of journalists and editors from Print, Electronic, Online and Wire Service assigned by their Media Houses to cover the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Line agencies, Embassies, High Commissions and the Diplomatic Community among others.

He assured the NTAC leadership that Diplomatic Correspondents Association, (DICAN) is duly incorporated by the Federal Government through the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as a legal entity with the Registration Number: 8202584 and as such, a credible body to work with.
