In continuation of his engagement with Staff which he started on the 7th February 2025 with Management Staff, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC); Mr. Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip has assured staff that he would make the Commission to be a comfortable environment to carry out their official assignments within available resources.
He stated this on Friday at an interactive meeting he had with staff from all cadres in the Commission.
The Permanent Secretary disclosed that capacity of staff will be enhanced through training and retraining to ensure that the Commission’s strategic vision and mandates are achieved.
According to him, aligning with Prof. Tunji Olaopa‘s vision for the Commission and Renewed Hope Agenda of the President was sacrosanct. He added that his doors are always open to staff as he operates an open door policy while frowning at gossip and insubordination.
Ndiomu directed that SERVICOM boxes be placed in strategic locations in the premises for Staff to escalate their suggestions and grievances to his office. He assured staff of their utmost confidentiality.
Ndiomu frowned at weak security situations in the Commission; promising that it would be improved. He directed Commission’s security personnel to ensure that staff wear official Identity Card at all time to differentiate them from visitors as part of security measures for the Commission.
The helmsman further disclosed that reward system in the Commission will be bolstered and staff performance rewarded. He said he was out to change the face of the Commission for good by making it the envy of all.
The interactive meeting which was rounded off with Q&A, had in attendance senior management Staff including new Director (Discipline and Appeal) Mr. Audu Ezekiel.
