FIC Report (Benue State) – The Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Chief Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh, has extended warm greetings to Benue workers as they join their counterparts around the world to commemorate the 2025 International Workers’ Day.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday, 1st May 2025, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Mr. Terver Zamber.
Chief Dajoh lauded the immense contributions of workers to the growth and development of Benue State, describing them as the backbone of society. He noted that their sacrifice, dedication, and professionalism are invaluable and deserve the highest appreciation.
The Speaker further commended the resilience, diligence, and productivity of Benue workers, especially in the face of current socioeconomic challenges.
He assured that under his leadership, the Benue State House of Assembly will continue to support the executive in protecting the rights and welfare of workers across the state.
Chief Dajoh also urged workers to continue supporting the present administration in its efforts to implement policies and programmes aimed at improving the lives of the people.
He wished all Benue workers a joyful and fulfilling Workers’ Day celebration.
