FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has been honored with the prestigious Governor of the Year Award in Peace and Security by Blueprint Newspaper, recognizing his outstanding leadership in maintaining stability and security within the state.
Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, received the award on his behalf today at the 2025 Public Lecture, Impact Series and Award ceremony, held at the Ladi Kwali Hall of Abuja Continental Hotel.
Blueprint Newspaper conferred the award in recognition of Governor Sani’s exemplary contributions and significant impact on Nigeria’s development, particularly in the areas of peace-building and security enhancement.
The award ceremony was designed to honor individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to public service.
The high-profile event was chaired by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and drew attendance from several prominent government officials. Notable attendees included Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin, along with ministers from key portfolios including Information and National Orientation, Solid Minerals, Agriculture and Food Security, Livestock Development, and Water Resources.
The recognition underscores Governor Sani’s efforts in addressing security challenges and promoting peaceful coexistence in Kaduna State, highlighting the administration’s commitment to creating a safer environment for residents and contributing to Nigeria’s overall stability.
