Renewed Hope: Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation takes Campaign to Kano

FIC Report (Kano State) – The Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation has held a Town Hall Meeting in order to sensitized the good people of Kano State about the Federal Government projects in the state.

The town hall meeting which took place at the Federal Secretariat conference room was attended by various people from all works of life in the state.

The Head of Center,. Federal Information Center Kano, Mallam Mohammed Ishaq while welcoming the participants explained that the purpose of this sensitization is to avail the good people of Kano State about the various projects and programs embarked upon by the President Bola Tinubu’s Administration.

Mallam Ishaq pointed out that Kano State have benefitted immensely from such projects in the areas of housing, agriculture, road network, education among others.

While delivering his lecture at the event, Mallam Abdulbaqi Makama highlighted various projects executed in the north-west region by the Bola Tinubu’s Administration.

Mallam Makama explained that the administration of Tinubu is actively delivering on the “Renewed Hope Agenda” noting that in the northwest region tangible results are being recorded in the areas of education, infrastructure, agriculture, energy and housing among others.

He explained that from the 5000 housing units earmarked for the northwest about 500 housing units are being constructed in Lambu village in Tofa local government area as well as the rehabilitation of dams and farmlands which will gulfed over 6 billion naira which was facilitated by Senator Kawu Sumaila.

He therefore called on the general public to spread the awareness of these tangible achievements so as to promote unity and peace among the people and guide against misinformation which aimed at undermining the administration transformation agenda and progress.

In his speech, the Chairman of the Occasion, who is the Director of NOA Kano State, Alhaji Rabiu Ado commended the administration of Ahmed Bola Tinubu for establishing the Northwest Development Commissioner (NWDC) and also approving Kano as its headquarters.

He therefore called on individuals and groups to enlighten the public about these initiatives and support government efforts at national development.
