Lagos State Governor Engages with Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, NIMC

FIC Report (Lagos State) – The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, today met with two significant delegations at the Lagos House, Marina, highlighting the state’s commitment to economic growth and digital innovation.

In a meeting with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, led by Chairman Lord Marland of Odstock, the Governor “discussed opportunities for deeper economic partnerships and shared ideas on how Lagos can continue to thrive as a hub for investment.” The discussions focused on ideas to further establish Lagos as a thriving investment hub.

Later, the Governor met with the Management of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to discuss exciting new developments aimed at creating a more inclusive Identity Management System for Lagosians and Nigerians. According to the Governor, “We discussed exciting new developments NIMC is introducing to drive a more inclusive Identity Management System for Lagosians and Nigerians as a whole, and also to discuss deepening already strong ties with LASRRA.” He added, “I remain committed to building a robust and inclusive digital Identity ecosystem for all Lagosians.”
