FIC Report (Abia State) – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Abia State Command has taken a significant step to preserve Nigerian’s national heritage through a partnership with the National War Museum. The Curator of the National war Museum, Mrs. Stella Alao, led a team on a courtesy visit to the Command’s Headquarters, on 25th September, where they met with State Commandant, Command Akinsole Aderemi, and Senior officers.
The Courtesy visit provided a great opportunity to foster mutual understanding between the NSCDC and the National War Museum.
Also to explore avenues for Collaboration in protecting Nigeria’s national heritage.
To promote peace and unity within Abia State through joint initiatives.
Commandant Akinsole Aderemi reaffirmed the NSCDC’s commitment to safeguarding critical national assets and promoting peace and unity in Abia State.
He emphasized the importance of Collaborative efforts in preserving Nigeria’s rich military history and cultural heritage.
Speaking during the event, Mrs Stella Also briefed the Commandant and his officers on the mission and vision of the National war Museum, highlighting its role in preserving Nigeria’s military history.
She commended the NSCDC for its dedication to protecting lives and property, expressing enthusiasm for a partnership that would support national security and Community development initiatives.
In Conclusion, The partnership is expected to enhance the protection of Nigeria’s national heritage, promote cultural awareness, and contribute to community development efforts in Abia State.
