First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Honored as “Sarauniyar Yaki” (Queen Warrior) in Gombe

FIC Report (Gombe State) – Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has been conferred with the traditional title of Sarauniyar Yaki, Queen Warrior of Akko Emirate, Gombe State.

The honor, bestowed by the Lamido Akko, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Atiku, recognizes her unwavering commitment to defending the weak and advancing humanitarian causes. The ceremony took place during her two-day official visit to the state, witnessed by Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya and the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo.

In her remarks, the First Lady pledged to sustain interventions for the girl child and called on traditional rulers to support her advocacy initiatives nationwide.

While in Gombe, she will also flag off the national launch of the Renewed Hope Initiative, Flow With Confidence, a menstrual health program designed to empower schoolgirls with access to essential hygiene resources
