FIC Report (Anambra State) – The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has commissioned the newly renovated NSCDC Divisional Office in Dunukofia Local Government Area in Anambra State.
Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi during the commissioning ceremony assured that the Corps would deploy well trained Officers to Dunukofia and ensure a robust security response system and closer synergy with Local Stakeholders.
He commended the Dunukofia Local Government Council Mayor, Hon. Chijioke Ozumba Esq. for his leadership, his achievements in infrastructure, youth empowerment and community development.
The Mayor of Dunukofia Local Government Area, Hon. Ozumba, while receiving the Commandant General and his entourage described the occasion as historic and a major milestone for grassroots security in the area.
He commended the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for renovating and upgrading their divisional office in the Local Government, pledging that his administration will partner with the NSCDC and other Security agencies in sustaining peace and good governance in the area, also applauding Governor Soludo whose Public Private Partnership (PPP) Initiative made the project possible.
The highlight of the occasion was the official ribbon cutting ceremony and the inspection of the upgraded divisional office delivered by Chief Vincent Udoji, a distinguished son of Dunukofia.
