Governor Uba Sani And Minister Of Housing And Urban Development Commission And Distribute 100 Newly Built Energy -Efficient Home In Kaduna

FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani commissioning and distributing 100 newly built, energy-efficient homes to indigent widows; a landmark project born of a strong partnership between the Family Homes Funds and the Kaduna State Government.

Sani said this pioneering social housing initiative, with Kaduna hosting its pilot phase, stands as a testament to our shared commitment to inclusive growth, social justice, and the upliftment of the vulnerable across our state.

He also profoundly grateful to the Honourable Minister of Budget and Economic Planning as well as the Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development, for their respective generous commendations of our administration’s dedication to this transformative endeavour. Their recognition reinforces our collective resolve to build a Kaduna where compassion and progress walk hand in hand, and where no one is left behind.

Uba point out that his administration remains steadfast in expanding access to safe, secure, and affordable housing; the cornerstone of human dignity. Through strategic partnerships with local and international investors, we are closing Kaduna’s housing deficit and creating new opportunities for our people. From the Qatar Sannabil Project for victims of banditry to large-scale developments such as the Nuru Suraj Ungwar Dosa New Extension and Urban Shelter’s Millennium City Project, we are reshaping the housing landscape. Our investor-friendly environment has attracted major institutions, including the Nigerian Air Force, Nigeria Customs Service, NDLEA, and Federal Housing Authority, now undertaking mass housing projects in Kaduna.

Governor Sani also wish to extend his heartfelt appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his visionary leadership, and to the Hon. Minister of Budget and Economic Planning for driving this initiative. This initiative is far more than a housing project; it is a symbol of hope, stability, and empowerment for widows who have endured hardship. Each home represents renewal and belonging. We will continue to strengthen partnerships with the Federal Government, Family Homes Funds, and other stakeholders to expand access to affordable housing and economic opportunity across Kaduna State.
