FIC Report (Zamfara State) – The Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Senator Abdulazeez Abubakar Yari disclosed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerian farmers that his administration plans to cut down the price of fertilizer and make it sufficient at a lower subsidized rate before the next farming season.
The Senator made this known to Newsmen while addressing the Executive of All Progressive Congress party (APC) who paid him a courtesy visit at his Talata-mafara resident.
Yari stated that President Tinubu is committed to strengthening citizens welfare and putting mechanism to make the fertilizer available and affordable for farmers Nationwide inorder to improve Agricultural and food security which are among his Renewed Hope Agenda.
Senator Yari further recalled the hardship people experienced especially in prices of commodities pointing out that the present administration of Bola Tinubu brought strategies to ensure the prices of commodities are drastically reduced.
He appealed on Nigerians to support the policies of the Federal Government adding that the policies committed towards promoting better lifes for Nigerians.
