FIC Report (Edo State) – Edo State commemorates the first anniversary of Governor Monday Okpebholo’s Administration with a reflection on the remarkable strides made over the past year in fostering peace, enhancing security, and laying the foundation for sustainable prosperity. The milestone on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025 in Benin City, marks a period of dedicated effort and strategic initiatives aimed at transforming the state into a safer and more conducive environment for growth and development.
Since assuming office, Governor Okpebholo has prioritized security as a cornerstone of his leadership agenda. Recognizing that lasting progress hinges on peace and stability, he has implemented a series of comprehensive measures to strengthen the state’s security framework. These efforts have been characterized by a collaborative approach involving Federal Security Agencies, Community Vigilante Groups, Traditional Rulers, and Local Stakeholders—all working in unison to combat crime and promote social harmony.
