The Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy (FMACTCE) has formally inaugurated its Enterprise Content Management (ECM) project’s Performance Management Team (PMT), comprising representatives drawn from various departments across the Ministry.
The PMT is mandated to drive the implementation of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) project—an initiative of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation aimed at transitioning work processes across all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) from analogue to fully digital operations.
In his opening remarks, the Head of the Information Communication Technology Department, Mr. Saidu Koro, introduced the appointed representatives and outlined their expected roles. He urged them to approach their responsibilities with the highest level of commitment, professionalism, and dedication. Mr. Koro emphasized that the representatives will serve as the critical link between the ICT Department, other departments within the Ministry, and the management team.
Declaring the PMT inaugurated, the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Mukhtar Yawale Muhammad, underscored the importance of the ECM project as a key component of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He also reaffirmed the commitment of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation to ongoing transformational efforts aimed at digitizing the Federal Civil Service.
Dr. Yawale encouraged the representatives to diligently carry out their duties, noting that the analogue era has passed and that the Ministry must fully embrace digital transformation.
