FIC Report (Benue State) – Federal Information Centers in Benue and Nasarawa States on Tuesday, 25th November 2025, participated in the ongoing Nationwide Personnel Audit and Skills Gap Analysis held at the Federal Secretariat, Lafia.
While enlightening staff of the Federal Information Centers in Lafia and Makurdi, Mr. Kingsley Aguguom, a consultant with Stranform Consulting Firm, explained that the exercise is being conducted in phases—beginning with the Personnel Audit, followed by the Skills Gap Analysis. He further detailed how staff of the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation can complete the second phase using the webmail.gbb.com.ng platform.
According to him, the platform supports the Personnel Audit and Skills Gap Analysis (PASGA) Project under the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), leveraging the MuchSkills platform. He emphasized that the overall goal is to build a modern, data-driven, and globally competitive Civil Service by identifying and developing the skills of every public servant.
Also speaking, Mr. Ambrose Achoba from the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, Radio House Abuja, and a member of the team, stated that the exercise will also help authenticate staff of the Ministry.
Earlier, the Head of the Federal Information Center Lafia, Mr. Ari Limam Aminu, welcomed the Headquarters team and staff of the Federal Information Center Makurdi, led by Mrs. Irene Iveren Onehi. He commended the Federal Government for initiating reforms aimed at elevating the federal civil service to meet global best practices.
