During the event, Senator Tinubu praised the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters for organizing the program.

She stated that Alhaji Ibrahim Masari, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Matters, would distribute 48,000 bags of 25 kilograms of rice, along with transportation fare, to the beneficiaries.

Senator Tinubu emphasized her belief that there is no such thing as a free lunch, which is why she also donated an additional N100 million to the CNNPF.

She urged other well-meaning Nigerians and organizations across the country to emulate her gesture, highlighting that this intervention demonstrates a deep understanding of the needs of the people, especially during a season meant for love, joy, and hope.

The First Lady also highlighted that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is centered on inclusion, compassion, and opportunity, ensuring that all Nigerians, regardless of their status, receive support to thrive and reach their full potential.

Senator Tinubu called on Nigerians to coexist peacefully and be their brothers’ keepers, stressing that true nation-building is only possible in an environment of peace and harmony.

The First Lady also expressed gratitude to Governor Uba Sani for demonstrating how Nigerians can live together harmoniously, regardless of religious affiliation or ethnicity.

In his remarks at the event, Governor Uba Sani emphasized that the initiative is not merely about giving but also about showing care, uplifting spirits, and sharing hope with those in need. He stated that moments like these remind us that authentic leadership is defined by how we respond to the needs of the vulnerable in our communities.

He described the distribution of Christmas packages to Christian families across Northern Nigeria as a powerful testament to Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s deep empathy, national service ethos, and moral leadership.

Governor Sani noted that through her philanthropy, the First Lady has elevated the standards of giving in the nation and demonstrated a steadfast commitment to improving the lives of the poor, vulnerable, and underserved.

He added that her initiatives consistently reach those on the margins, with a genuine understanding that authentic leadership involves lifting others. In a time of economic and social challenges, her gestures provide relief, reassurance, and renewed hope.

The Governor highlighted that what makes the First Lady’s philanthropy particularly remarkable is its inclusiveness, stating that her compassion transcends religious, ethnic, and regional boundaries.
