NTAC Director-General Felicitates Nigerians On Christmas And The New Year

……….Expresses Optimism for a Better Nigeria in 2026.

The Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has felicitated Nigerians on the celebration of Christmas and the New Year, noting that the blessings of God have been evident across the nation.

In a goodwill message to mark the festive season, personally signed by him and made available to his media handlers in Yola, Adamawa State, the former federal lawmaker described the outgoing year, 2025, as one that is ending on a positive and hopeful note for Nigeria and its people. He used the opportunity to call for stronger unity, mutual understanding, and love among Nigerians, stressing that these values are essential for national progress in the coming year.

Rt. Hon. Buba urged Nigerians to imbibe the true spirit of the season by promoting good neighbourliness and ensuring that the joy of Christmas and the New Year is shared through acts of kindness, gift-giving, and genuine friendship, regardless of differences in creed, tongue, or background.

According to him, “When the greater majority of the people celebrating demonstrate a shared sense of love, camaraderie, and oneness, the nation naturally transforms into a grand atmosphere of peace, joy, and togetherness. In such moments, Nigeria remains united and resilient, rising above both real and perceived challenges to peace and security.”

The NTAC Director-General further encouraged Nigerians to sustain their faith in the nation’s leadership and their collective capacity to move the country forward. He called for continued support and prayers for Mr. President, the Vice President, the leadership of the National Assembly, State Governors, and other public office holders, praying that God grants them renewed strength, wisdom, and focus to effectively steer the affairs of the nation in the New Year.

He expressed optimism that with unity, faith, and collective responsibility, Nigeria will witness greater stability, growth, and prosperity in 2026.
