The Hon. Ministér of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim fsi attended the wreath-laying ceremony as part of 2026 Armed Forces celebration and Remembrance Day. The ceremony was performed by President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR ably represented by the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima GCON at the National Arcade, Abuja.
The ceremony featured among other things, the Firing of three Valleys by the Firing Party and Reveille, Signing off AFCRD Anniversary Register/ Releasing of Pigeons, a national minute of silence, and a parade by the Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force and Legionnaires.
The Hon. Minister of Women Affairs was represented by the Director Child Department Mr. Ali Andrew Madugu accompanied by the Head of Press and Public Relations Department, Ahmed Lawan Danbazau.
In attendance were the Senate President, Speaker, Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF) Ministers, Chief Justice of the Federal, Service Chiefs and the Diplomatic Corps among others.
