FIC Report (Jigawa State) – The Executive Chairman of the Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Professor Haruna Musa, formally welcomed the Honourable Minister of Education, Professor Suwaiba, to the commissioning ceremony of the UBEC Smart School in Hadejia.
In his address, Professor Haruna Musa praised the Minister’s unwavering commitment and dedication to the advancement of basic education across Nigeria, describing her leadership as instrumental to the sector’s ongoing transformation.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, who represented His Excellency the Governor; the Executive Secretary of UBEC, Dr Aisha Garba; the Chairman of Hadejia Local Government; and His Royal Highness, the Emir of Hadejia, Dr Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maje, CON, alongside other traditional rulers and distinguished guests.
In her remarks, the Honourable Minister of Education reaffirmed the Federal Government’s resolve to sustain support for basic education, in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Similarly, the Executive Secretary of UBEC, Dr Aisha Garba, reiterated the Commission’s commitment to strengthening and sustaining basic education development nationwide.
Professor Haruna Musa once again expressed his appreciation to Professor Suwaiba for honouring the event with her presence. The Emir of Hadejia also conveyed gratitude to the Governor of Jigawa State for his consistent and unwavering support for education across the state.
