FIC Report (Kwara State) – A courtesy visit was paid to the Head of the Federal Information Centre by the State Coordinator of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Mr. Sunday Daniel, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration and enhance public awareness of the Directorate’s programmes.
During the visit, Mr. Daniel outlined the various roles of the NDE, highlighting key initiatives such as the Graduate Attachment Programme and the Women Empowerment Programme, both designed to tackle unemployment and promote self-reliance among citizens.
He explained that the purpose of the visit was to foster synergy between the NDE and the Federal Information Centre, particularly in the area of publicity, to ensure that more Nigerians are adequately informed about the Directorate’s interventions and opportunities. Mr. Daniel emphasized that effective information dissemination remains crucial to the success of NDE programmes across the state.
In response, the Head of the Federal Information Centre commended the initiative and solicited for greater incorporation of the Centre into various NDE programmes to boost visibility and outreach. The highlight of the visit was the presentation of the official magazine of the Federal Ministry, symbolizing a renewed commitment to collaboration and strategic communication.
