The Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has extended warm Easter greetings to all staff of the Corps, Technical Aid Corps (TAC) Volunteers serving across the globe, and Nigerians at large.
In his Easter message, the Director-General described the season as a profound reminder of selfless sacrifice, unconditional love, and the triumph of hope over despair.
He noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ remains an enduring symbol of renewal, inspiring humanity to overcome challenges through dedication and selflessness.
Dr. Yakub emphasized that the values of sacrifice and service are at the heart of NTAC’s mandate.
He commended the Corps’ Volunteers for their commitment and resilience in representing Nigeria across African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) countries, often under demanding conditions.
“Our Volunteers are true ambassadors of Nigeria’s foreign policy, projecting the nation’s spirit of goodwill, brotherhood, and resilience. Their sacrifices and contributions to development in host countries remain invaluable,” he stated.
He urged all NTAC staff and Volunteers to draw inspiration from the lessons of Easter by rededicating themselves to service, fostering stronger international partnerships, and contributing meaningfully to sustainable development.
The Director-General also called on Nigerians to embrace unity, peace, and national cohesion, particularly as the nation approaches another phase of electoral activities.
He stressed the importance of supporting leadership through constructive engagement, prayers, and a shared commitment to national progress.
“As we mark this sacred season, let us reflect on the virtues of forgiveness, love, and sacrifice, and work collectively towards building a more prosperous and harmonious Nigeria,” he added.
Rt. Hon. Buba concluded by wishing all Nigerians a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration.
