FIC Report (Zamfara State) – The Chief Of Defense Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede has commended the Zamfara State Government for support and collaboration with the Nigerian Army in the fight against banditry across the Northwestern region.
The Defense Chief made the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal at the Government House in Gusau recently.
He stated that, he was in Gusau for an official visit to the Governor and the Fansan Yamma Theater Operation Headquarters in Gusau.
General Oluyede commended the administration of Governor Dauda Lawal for the Operational vehicles donated to the Nigerian Army recently adding that he visited the Theater operation Headquarters and interacted with Troops and highlighted challenges and some issues were resolved while others were noted for further action.
While responding the Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal expressed satisfaction with the visit saying that it encourages the activities of security personnel.
The Governor further highlighted some of the supports delivered to security agencies including sophisticated operation vehicles. He Commended the effort of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his concern and support on insecurity in the state.
