
FIC Report (Delta State) – The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, psc, acipm, mnips, on Tuesday, 23rd June, 2026 received the Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Delta State Command, C.I Christiana Solo-Akora alongside members of her management team, on a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters, Asaba.
According to a press statement by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer PPRO SP. Bright Edafe, the visit provided an opportunity for both agencies to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, enhance information sharing and discuss strategies aimed at improving security and border management within Delta State.
CP Yemi Oyeniyi, psc, acipm, mnips, commended the Nigeria Immigration Service for its contributions to national security and reaffirmed the commitment of the Delta State Police Command to sustaining effective cooperation with sister security agencies in the collective effort to safeguard lives and property across the State.
Earlier, the Delta State Immigration Service Comptroller, C. I. Christiana Solo-Akora, thanked the CP and his Management Team for the warm reception. She noted that the visit was to synergise with the police and other security agencies in the State with a view to enhancing the overall security architecture in the State.
