FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani visit Ministry of works head of the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the 122-kilometre Mando–Birnin Gwari Road, I held a productive meeting with the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, CON, and the Honourable Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, to review the state of preparedness and conclude arrangements for the successful commencement of this landmark project.
He explained their discussions focused on ensuring a seamless flag-off and the timely delivery of a strategic highway that will restore a vital economic corridor, strengthen security, improve regional connectivity, facilitate the efficient movement of people and goods, and stimulate agriculture, commerce and inclusive economic growth across Birnin Gwari and adjoining communities.
Sani express his profound appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for approving this transformative project and providing the necessary resources for its execution.
He pointed out that Kaduna State remains steadfast in its commitment to working closely with the Federal Government to ensure the successful and timely delivery of this critical infrastructure for the benefit of our people and the nation.
