Adamawa APC Stakeholders Resolve to Deepen Support for Tinubu, Party Candidates

………..Federal Appointees, Party Leaders and Stakeholders Meet in Abuja, Pledge Greater Unity and Coordinated Action Ahead of 2027 Elections.

Federal Government appointees, leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Adamawa State have resolved to deepen their support and mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all candidates of the Party ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The stakeholders reached the resolution on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at a strategic meeting held at the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC) Complex in Abuja.

The meeting was hosted and chaired by the Director-General of NTAC, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub.
The gathering brought together prominent APC leaders, political stakeholders and Federal Government appointees from Adamawa State to deliberate extensively on the need for greater unity, strategic coordination and broad-based support for the Party across the State.

In his welcome remarks, Rt. Hon. Buba Yakub stressed the importance of members working together towards a common objective, noting that unity, consultation and collective action were essential to strengthening the APC and enhancing its political fortunes in Adamawa State.

The meeting also reviewed some of the factors identified by participants as having constrained the Party’s performance in the State over the years, particularly the absence of a sufficiently coordinated and cohesive approach among its stakeholders.

Participants agreed that these challenges should be put behind them as the Party moves towards a more united, cohesive and coordinated future. They emphasised the need for stakeholders to close ranks, strengthen internal collaboration and work closely with Party structures at all levels towards achieving their shared political objectives.

The gathering further underscored the importance of strategic and broad-based engagement among Federal Government appointees, Party leaders, candidates and grassroots stakeholders.

Participants agreed to translate the deliberations into concrete activities and coordinated mobilisation in the weeks and months ahead.

Among those present at the meeting were the APC North-East Zonal Vice Chairman, Barr. Shuaibu Idris; the Party’s Adamawa State Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Galadima; Senator Binta Masi-Garba, former Adamawa State APC Chairperson; Senator Grace Bent; the Managing Director of the Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority, Alhaji Bamanga Usman Jada; and heads of other Ministries, Departments and Agencies, as well as other Federal Government appointees from Adamawa State.

The meeting concluded with a commitment by all, to intensify consultation, cooperation and coordinated activities in support of the APC’s candidates and programmes as preparations for the 2027 General Elections gather momentum.

The stakeholders reaffirmed that sustained unity, cooperation and collective responsibility would remain central to their engagements as they worked towards strengthening the Party’s structures and political presence across Adamawa State.
