ABUJA (MoI’s Report) – Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. (rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau has congratulated Mrs Funke Egbemode, the newly-elected President, Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE).
Gen. Dambazau expressed appreciation for the professional prowess of Mrs. Egbemode, and hopes that she will bring her experience of many years of hard work, editorial dexterity and journalistic skills to bear on the headship of the Guild.
He noted that Mrs. Egbemode has had a fulfilling career in journalism, effectively balancing motherhood with a demanding deadline expected of the profession.
The Minister wishes the new President a successful tenure.
