FIC Report (Abia State) – The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, has expressed profound sadness over the passing of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, a revered international evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association.
In a heartfelt tribute, Engr. Emetu described Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai as an “unwavering pillar of faith” and a “good shepherd” who left an indelible mark on the lives of countless believers. He noted that the late cleric’s ministry spanned decades and continents, touching the lives of millions through his powerful preaching and healing crusades.
“His unwavering commitment to spreading the message of Christ, healing broken lives, and lifting the downtrodden has left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations of believers,” Engr. Emetu said.
The Deputy Governor prayed for God’s comfort for the family, the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, and the wider Christian community, and for Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai’s soul to rest in eternal peace.
