Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe
Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Information and Culture is a graduate of Medicine from the University of Benin. She obtained a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Lagos and Diploma in Family Medicine from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
She joined the Federal Civil Service in 1992 and worked in various capacities in Federal Staff Clinics and Hospitals in Lagos until 2007, on Grade level 16, Dr. Onwudiwe was posted to the Federal Ministry of Health Headquarters in Abuja. At the headquarters, at different times, she was in charge of Specialty Hospitals, Federal Medical Centres and Teaching Hospitals in the country.
In July 2021, Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe was appointed Permanent Secretary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and was posted to the Service Welfare Office in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation where she worked until 31st May, 2023 when she was redeployed to the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture
