FIC Report (Ekiti State) – Air Peace Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Allen Onyema, arrived at the Ekiti State International Agro Cargo Airport, alongside his delegation to explore site viewing, partnership, and business commencement opportunities.
The visit marked a crucial step towards fostering collaboration between Air Peace and the Ekiti State Government, potentially unlocking new economic opportunities and boosting the State’s aviation sector.
“With the airport’s strategic location and Air Peace’s expertise, this partnership could pave the way for increased connectivity, trade, and growth in the region”, the Air Peace head said.
Onyema landed at the airport on Saturday at about 10:00am in a Boeng 737, (120 capacity) Aircraft.
He commended the Airport’s apron, runway, and terminal building, describing them as “highly functional and aesthetically pleasing.”
Speaking with Journalists shortly after landing at the airport, the Air Peace Boss noted that the facility’s readiness for international and domestic flights positioned it as a critical infrastructure for the economic and social development of the state and the country at large.
The delegation was warmly received by top Ekiti State officials, including Barrister Dayo Apata, Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General; Rt. Honorable Taiwo Olatunbosun, Commissioner for Information; and AVM Sunday Makinde (rtd), Technical Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on the State Airport Project.
