Benue State Government Introduces New Official Logo To Reflect Unity And Development

FIC Report (Benue State) – The Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has officially unveiled the new Benue State Logo, also known as the State Seal, in a historic event that marks a renewed commitment to unity, identity, and progress for the people of the state.

The unveiling ceremony took place today, Saturday, February 8, 2025, during the grand finale and presentation of the Benue State symbols at the Nnam Hall Complex and Hotel, Old GRA, Makurdi. The event was attended by distinguished stakeholders, top government officials, traditional rulers, and members of the public, all gathered to witness this momentous occasion.

The newly designed logo embodies the rich cultural heritage of Benue State while reflecting its aspirations for a future of peace, prosperity, and inclusivity. It serves as a unifying symbol that resonates with the values and vision of the government and people of Benue.

In his keynote address, Governor Alia expressed his deep pride in the new emblem, highlighting its significance as a representation of the collective hopes and ambitions of the people. He urged all citizens to embrace the new state logo as a beacon of their shared identity and commitment to the development of Benue State.

“This new logo is not just a symbol; it is a declaration of our unity, our resilience, and our collective determination to build a greater Benue. It signifies the progress we seek, the peace we uphold, and the prosperity we strive for,” Governor Alia stated.

The unveiling of the new Benue State Logo marks a significant milestone in the administration’s ongoing efforts to promote unity and drive sustainable development. It stands as a testament to the government’s dedication to fostering a harmonious and thriving society for all.
