Speaking at a valedictory session in Abuja, Bisalla urged his successor and the leadership of the Ministry, to make regular visits to the Niger Delta region a priority, in order to have firsthand information on the challenges confronting the people of the oil rich region in a bid to tackle them.
“I implore my successor to enhance and pursue regular visits to the states in the Niger Delta region to see the people in real sense, the challenges that exist and to have a feel of what the realities are, so as to strive towards the actualization of the mandate of the Ministry to make the region a better place,” Bisalla stressed.
He also called for more initiatives from all stakeholders to improve on the environment and the lives of the people of the oil rich Niger Delta region.
