…NUJ Ekwuribe Advises Governor Otti
Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti has been advised to be conscious of the negative tendencies of obtuse sycophants and concentrate on his avowed primary responsibility of good governance for the benefit of Abia citizens.
The President General Okaiuga Nkwo-egwu improvement Union, Umuahia North LGA, Sir Uzomba Ekwuribe who gave the advice while interacting with Newsmen in Umuahia the State capital, also advised the Governors Aides to concentrate on achieving results instead of responding to baseless rumours and arguments, adding that action speaks louder than voice.
Sir Ekwuribe who was a former Secretary General , Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) in the State, urged the Governor and his cabinet Members to consider implementing the template of the former Governor of Anambra State and Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi on good governance.
He recalled that it is unfortunate that most of the billboards praising the Governor presently were also there during the previous administrations in the State, adding that the Governor would be judged by his positive impacts and achievements at the end of his tenure and not by the number of billboards and flyers praising him
