The Director General National Boundary Commission Surveyor Adamu Adaji led the Nigerian delegation to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Local Cross Border Cooperation between Nigeria and Benin Republic. The MoU seeks to promote cross-border cooperation and address the challenges related to cross-border insecurity, socioeconomic development, and fast tracking delimitation and demarcation of the boundary, among other things. The Nigerian delegation comprised of officials the National Boundary Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Federal Ministry of Justice, Nigerian Embassy in Cotonou, relevant Security Agencies and all the Chairmen of Border Local Government Areas along the Nigeria-Benin International Border.
