FIC Report (Ebonyi State) – David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital (DUFUTH) has taken a giant leap forward in its mission to provide world-class healthcare services.
The hospital has received critical infrastructure support courtesy of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) initiative, as facilitated by the Honourable Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi. The items spread across a range of modern equipment including a 50 all-in-one HP PCs, one ambulance, 50 Deskjet 2720 printers, and 50 Blue Gate Elite Pro BG653 UPS units.
Additionally, a 180KVA capacity solar power system comprising: Solar panels of 550W (160pcs), Lithium batteries of 240KW (16 units) and Inverter of 15KVA by 16pcs, has been provided for our hospital by the founder, the Honourable Minister of Works, His Excellency, Engr. David Umahi. This will ensure a constant power supply to our MRI Machine at the Radiology department, and guarantee optimal operations, including sustaining the helium pressure below 1.5 PSI and helium quantity above 80 percent.
This infrastructure boost will bring major enhancements to our healthcare services, enabling our healthcare professionals to provide better services to patients.
