FIC Report (Edo State) – The Edo State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Ambassador Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh, has conducted an inspection of the proposed campaign office for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Benin City, amid escalating preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
Located along Airport Road, the facility is envisioned to serve as a vital strategic hub for mobilization and coordination of the Renewed Hope movement across Edo State. It aims to facilitate grassroots engagement, youth mobilization, media activities, and stakeholder outreach as part of the broader effort to rally support for Tinubu’s presidency in the coming years.
The Inspection was led by the Edo South Senatorial Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Comrade Kelly Okungbowa Ebostone, alongside Hon. Omosigho Uyi Frank, the representative of Oredo East Constituency. The exercise was attended by prominent Political Stakeholders, including the Special Adviser to Governor Monday Okpebholo on Media Projects, Godswill Inaegbe, who represented Ambassador Aigboboh.
Other key figures present included the Commissioner for Youths, Hon. Charity Amayaevbo; Mr. John Mayaki, promoter of Edo’s construction sector, and various party leaders committed to consolidating the achievements of the current Administration and strengthening Edo’s political structure ahead of the elections.
During the Inspection, Comrade Kelly Okungbowa, In his remarks, emphasized the importance of early mobilization, stating, “We are not leaving anything to chance. We are in a hurry to deliver for the President, and so we have to start the process immediately.” He stressed that this strategic move by Edo APC stakeholders aims to position the state as a formidable stronghold for the Renewed Hope Movement in 2027.
He further expressed confidence in achieving and surpassing the target of 2.5 million votes promised by the State Governor, adding, “Early mobilization signals a coordinated and determined approach to ensure Edo remains a key supporter of President Tinubu’s administration.”
Godswill Inaegbe, the Special Adviser on Media Projects, affirmed the Party’s strategic focus, noting, “Edo APC is a structured and proactive Political Party that prioritizes grassroots engagement and institutional coordination. The proposed campaign office will serve as a platform for planning, volunteer training, and harmonizing efforts across wards and Local Government Areas.”
He highlighted that the unwavering commitment of Governor Okpebholo and party leaders is driving the momentum to galvanize support for President Tinubu. Inaegbe also stated that political activities in Edo are set to intensify, with efforts underway to strengthen party structures to deliver a massive victory for the President in 2027.
As Edo State gears up for the next electoral cycle, stakeholders remain resolute in their mission top mobilize support and secure the votes needed to sustain the current administration’s achievements at the national level.
