Emotional Moments As Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu Rescues 3 Homeless Women

FIC Report (Abia State) – The Wife of the Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu has rescued 3 homeless Women in different parts of the State.

Mrs. Ikpeazu spoke during the official handing over of the keys to the beneficiaries disclosed that homelessness is a terrible plight. According to her, a man who has a roof over his head has solved a large part of life’s challenges. “The desire to ensure that people enjoy the expression of love and passion for humanity drives me into doing everything i do for people especially the homeless” she said.

She prayed God to help keep them safe as they enjoy their new homes.

Speaking further, the commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Rose Urenta extolled the Wife of the Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, for her unrelenting efforts towards affairs of indigent, especially housing, the fight against Gender Based Violence while praying God to bless her with good health.

In her words, the Vice President of Vicar Hope Foundation, Dr. Edith Nwosu, described the Wife of the Governor as a rare gift to humanity.

She noted that Mrs. Ikpeazu has built over 175 houses in different parts of the state. She also used the opportunity to remind parents to always intimate their wards on the need to know their genotype and that of their intending partners to avoid bringing Sickle Cell Children into the World who end up suffering all through their lifetime.

Responding, the Women who could not hide their emotions, wept uncontrollably in front of Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu and could not speak a single word as their tears of Joy were uncontrollable.

The beneficiaries were Uruaku Apollo, Love John, Ijeoma Gift Young.

Present at the event were, Dr. Edith Nwosu, Vice president Vicar Hope Foundation and other Top Government Functionaries.
