The Management of the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board, in collaboration with Micro Access ICT Solutions Provider, has organized a training workshop on Digitalization and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for its management staff and others.
The 3 day-workshop held in Abuja is also aimed to equip the Board’s management staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive digital transformation and improve operational efficiency.
The workshop is part of the efforts the Board is making to improve its operations by the digitization of its activities. The workshop focused on the applications of digital technologies to enhance business processes, improve customer service, and increase productivity. Participants were trained on the latest trends and best practices in ERP.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Executive Secretary, Hajiya Salamatu Ahmed, represented by the Director of Administration, Mrs Monica Igwe, emphasized the importance of digitalization in driving the Board’s mandate to ensure housing loans are granted to federal public servants at a single digit interest rate.
“As we strive to achieve our mandate, we must leverage digital technologies to improve our operations, enhance customer experience, and increase our impact,” she said.
The workshop featured an expert facilitator, Mr. Emeka Nze, from Digital Bridge Institute who shared his expertise and experiences in digital transformation and ERP implementation.
Participants engaged in interactive sessions and hands-on exercises to reinforce their learning.
The training workshop put more emphasis on the Board’s strategic plan to enhance its efficiency and improve its service, especially in pass-tracking the repayments of the loans.
The Board is committed to leveraging technology to achieve its mandate and drive digital transformation.
