The Managing Director, Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, (FERMA), Engr. Nuruddeen Rafindadi (FSNE), has expressed his commitment in actualizing the success of the SERVICOM initiative and the implementation of the executive order 001 “on transparency and ease of doing business.”
Engr. Rafindadi made this known while receiving a team of six (6) from SERVICOM National Secretariat, led by the National Coordinator, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli yesterday at the Agency’s Headquarters. In his remarks, the MD said he knows the importance of the executive order 001 in carrying out the Agency’s mandate. He added that the visit was a welcome development and promised to support SERVICOM for a smooth and successful operation.
In her response, the National Coordinator, SERVICOM, said the purpose of their visit was to sensitize the management and staff of the Agency on the Executive Order 001 so they can identify key points in service delivery and develop steps in improving current ranking linking it with Service charter. The Focal Officer FERMA SERVICOM, Mr. Chijioke Ukpabi, in his speech outlined the successes and challenges faced since inception on 20th April, 2005.
Other facilitators that presented papers at the workshop includes; Mrs. Ladi Danella Aku – “lecture on work ethics”; Ugochukwu Ijeoma – “Relevance of Servicom Charter in Federal Roads Maintenance Agency”; and Adakole Okochi – “Customer Service Excellence”.
Also in attendance from the Servicom Unit, Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing were the Ag. Director, Coordination and Service Improvement (RCSI), Mr. Mmaka John A., a representative of the Minister, Power, Works and Housing; Ahmadu Yusuf, C.E.O. (RCSI), and Odia E. M., A.O.I. (RCSI).
