The Federal Government has approved the appointment of Prof. Ikpeme A. Ikpeme as the New Chief Medical Director (CMD), University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar, Cross Rivers State.
The Appointment is for an initial term of four years with effect from 16th April, 2019.
Congratulating Prof Ikpeme on his new appointment, the Honourable Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, reminded him of the enormous responsibilities of his office and the yearnings of our people for an effective and responsive healthcare delivery system for Nigerians.
Adewole further advised the new CMD to justify the confidence reposed on him by the President, working with all stakeholders to ensure industrial harmony in the Health Sector and in support of Mr. President’s Change Agenda.
